Hold it. Don't do it the hard way. Use a Continuous Integration Server to handle all that for you. It's more flexible that batch files and has lots more capabilities. Some CI servers are free. The article on my website should get you started http://www.craigberntson.com/papers.html

FYI, DOS is dead. What ships with Windows, while it looks like DOS is not.
