>Does this idiot know how hard it is to graduate magna cum laude from Harvard and and actually qualify as president of the Harvard Law Review?? There's no faking it - either you got it or you don't.

>Obama is without question the most intelligent, articulate and effective president in my memory - and that goes all the way back to Nixon. I doubt if Trump could even keep up with him in a debate about real issues. Want to waste a lot of taxpayer's money - vote for Trump!
It would be damning Obama with faint praise to point out how much smarter and more educated he is than is Donald Trump <s> . I don't see why people can't agree or disagree about Obama's ( or any other president's ) policies without claiming they are somehow the result of mental defect. People can be very smart and wrong just as they can be not so smart and right.
But to have your intelligence, taste, education or judgment questioned by Donald Trump is truly to be called ugly by a toad.
Charles Hankey
Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
