Charles Hankey is fond of the phrase "the pointy end" of US military might. I prefer to think of it (and the UK's smaller effort) as a large lardy ass descending.
Certainly the perpetrators of 9/11 should have been found and brought to justice but the military adventures have done nothing to further that and certainly have made the world a much more dangerous place. If you like fast jets, big boats and explosions I suggest you stick to watching movies as Hollywood is the place for you.
