Remember that in 1983, we had a very good idea of who killed our boys at the Marine barracks in Beirut - and Ronald Reagan did NOTHING, for fear of retribution.

>>>The only piece that is questionable to me is the sea burial...the rest is a typical surgical operation...it may or may not be what actually occurred, it may or may not be all of the information or story (you can pretty much guarantee it's not), but it's a realistic (and not that different from previous similar actions) standard surgical operation...

>>I am not being given any story by media, rather skim across all stories trying to see what make sense.
>>This is one cute story by AP writer(s). There is some intriguing uvertira (tracking down THE messanger...), then some elements of spy thriller and finally Top-Gun / Rambo finale. This will sure sit very well with almost 90% of targeted audience.
>>Essentially it is loads of c***p, one of the sleaziest real time propaganda stories I have came across on a subject, but hey this is what they are paid to do. {g}
>>So if Osama used pidgeons as messangers he would be still alive&kicking today?
>>If they ever lose that AP propaganda gig, they can easily find job in Holywood B/C movies production. If taken by some talented Holywood director, above mentioned screenplay could be even turned into a block-buster. 'Black Hawk Down - Return with Vengeance' {g} (With apologies to original 'Black Hawk Down' which is not bad movie at all ! )

>>I do expect whole tsunami of dumb articles by main-sewerage media and bad movies comming out of Holywood, but hey we are used to it :))

That phrase makes me chuckle every time. (Actually it's enhanced interrogation techniques, isn't it?) What was the operation on Sunday, an enhanced rest technique? ;-)
