There are a few record counts there also. One which is based on count(*) from each table is going to be slow (but not that slow). There are scripts based on sys.partitions table if I recall, they should be much faster.

The Sizes of All Tables in a Database is the one you need, I believe.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
