It's feasible, if you must, and if all the tables you need to write to have proper primary keys. I guess you don't have much choice, or you wouldn't ask.
Watch for fields which have irregular names - containing spaces or other impossible characters, beginning with a digit etc. If you build views using some utility, you may want to replace the Fox-side names with something more meaningful than what the wizard would create.
Also (and I did it only twice, years ago, and briefly), make sure your connectstring contains the full path in the database=[path]; entry. It is not properly stored in the dbc with the connection; you're better off storing or building the connectstring outside of the dbc, and then connecting your views (or SPTs) via the handle.
