Ok, I've changed the control source to a table CUSTOMERS.DBF and got rid of all reference to TMPCUSTOMERS
but it's still not working?
>>Ok, so the properties of my combobox are as follows:

>>Control Source: m.customer (I'm not buffering directly to a table, but APPENDING BLANK etc from the save button of my form)

>>
Name: CmbCCustomer
>>
>>Row Source: select * from customers into cursor tmpcustomers order by customer readwrite

>>Row Source Type: 3 SQL Statement

>> INSERT INTO tmpcustomers (customer,companyname) VALUES (thisform.txtCCode.Value,thisform.txtCCompanyName.Value)
>>ENDIF
>>thisform.Release

>Yes, you don't need to add it in the tmpCustomers. I always just use RowSourceType - alias, not the SQL.
