By all means consider New Zealand. If you and Andy have not been there, for sure go there on vacation. It is beautiful and the people are very friendly. No spot in NZ is more than 70 miles from the ocean. There are mountains, fjords, geysers, more scenery than would fit in 10 picture books. The one caveat in terms of a place to live is it is very difficult to get a residence visa, or at least it used to be. I'm sure you remember that Lisa Slater (not yet Nicholls) had a heck of a time getting in. Their official position was she was without job prospects in their country. If you get serious about this you should talk to her.
