Charles, I owe a lot of people apologies for my behavior yesterday, you most of all. I hope you know that wasn't really what I think of you, it was the disease talking. In fact I may have figured it out. If I am vain about anything it is my intelligence and lately I have been questioning it. So I took on one of the most intelligent people I know. Stupid.

There is so much I have to be thankful for. I have two wonderful daughters. I have a lover who knows all about my problems and loves me anyway. I have two job interviews coming up in the next few days and a third one almost certain. A roof over my head, food on the table, a car to drive. There is nothing facing me that can't be addressed. There is no reason for me to moan and complain.
