Hi Jos. I use Camtasia, on both Windows and Mac. But if you want a free Windows based solution to record screencasts and are OK with a limit of each video of 10 minutes or less, then one option is to use the free version of Microsoft Expression Encoder. http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/EncoderPro_Overview.aspx.
