>WP7 is innovative, fresh and will be the dominate platform soon (Gartner and boys say by 2015; I don't think it will take that long. Its grown 2% market share in 3 months and will keep rising). The Nokia deal is a killer and when we start flooding the world with windows phone, things will onlly get better. I don't browse websites on the phone that much, usually looking for addresses or directions or such, so the lack of flash is not a stopper for me. I use my notebook if I need that.

Microsoft's original smartphone effort was pathetic (Windows Mobile is dead). Microsoft wasn't ever a player in the mp3 player market (Zune is dead).

IMO: Microsoft is too far behind and isn't ever going to be a player in the smartphone market or the slate tablet market. Unless Oracle pulls some major legal shenanigans, Android's dominance is only going to grow. Any new smartphone project not started with Android as the primary focus is money down the toilet.

Apple's reprieve from obscurity with iPod/iPhone/iPad is going to be but a blip in history as Android wipes the smug off Steve Job's face.
