It's hysterical...wait, no, it's priceless...that you'd take a technical article and try to dissect it with a phony red pen. Talk about irrelevant.
Since you asked openly about being a copy editor, I'll give you my view. It would be a waste of time. For every one thing you might catch, there'd be far too many non-issues that you'd pursue with the same belligerence that possibly got you dismissed from your last gig. Some people just never learn. If by some bizarre set of circumstances you became my copy editor, I'd quit. Fortunately, that'll never happen.
