I think my explanation was not 100% correct. If you mean the numbers you see in the browser's title, then it's number of the new messages since your last refresh. This is something the owner of the forum (Michel Fournier) added quite recently and it's very helpful, as you can minimize UT and check from time to time to see, if new messages were added while working on something else.

BTW, I haven't seen Tc message when I replied to you (I first replied, then did a refresh) :)
