>I just upgraded my workstation from Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional. I've installed VFP 9 SP2 and can't get the program to save any of the settings. Things like the location/size of the Command and Properties Windows always go back to the original even within the same session. I can't get the Task Pane to open to the Environment Manager either. Has anyone else run into this? I'm getting ready to go get my XP box back from Help Desk.

Hi,

Where is your Foxcode, dbf located? It sounds like it is in c:\Program Files(68)\Microsoft Visual Foxpro.

Microsoft has decided that this is not a directory where you can save updatable files, please try in your

d:\users\appdata\roaming\microsoft\visual foxpro 9\foxcode.dbf

and - important - make this also known in the File Locations page of Options window (Main menu ->Tools ->Options )

Best regards,

Koen
