Android is a cheap plastic imitation of the iphone. They're going down the same fragmented road as MS did in the early 2000's.... It won't be a dominant platrorm much longer.. Obviously you know a hundred times more about mobile development than I do. At best, I'm a power user with my HTC Evo and my iPad. But I have to say that I like the Android environment. (I'm sure I'd like WM7 - my brother recently bought a phone with windows mobile and he likes it).
Then again, I'm the kind of person who is happy just to find a good jazz Android app that I can play on my Evo while I'm giving Katy her bath every night. :)
Here's an idea for you, maybe for a future article or blog post (and maybe you've already thought of this) - a feature matrix of what major features are found in WM that aren't in Android.
