>>I have talked before about Firefox being super slow on my computer. I had 3.6 version; upgraded to 4.0.1, Still very slow. I removed NoScript; still very slow (NoScript was not causing the problem). Today I need to check something on the local RMV site; loaded it on FireFox. It keeps saying Loading.. bla. bla..bla. Meantime I opened IE 6.0 opened the page - almost immediately and not a problem. Returned back to Firefox; this hog was still trying. What a piece of crap. If not for that fact that I have tons of Bookmarks in FF I would have uninstalled it right now. But it is only a matter for time before FF will be a nightmare history in my memory.

>You blame the browser which works super-fast on several laptops I have and many friends and colleagues who use it without a hitch. So its not the browser per se. It's something else, some conflict or other issue on your machine. Have you verified the slowness on another computer on your network for example?
I am comparing FF speed of connection vs IE on the same computer and obviously the same network. To me this is as much apple-to-apple as can be.
