Hi folks,

Is there a succinct collection, or 'bucket list', of solutions to to try re: the C5 error? Yes, I've tried this/that/the other thing... then boing! C5. It's happening in code run/compiled as a EXE, as well as the installed VFP9.exe SP2.

This is with WinXP SP3.

I've tried having runtime files in the default C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VFP and tried with them copied in the application's directory. C5.

I've deleted all FoxUser.* files.

I've tried on various computers (all XP sp3) and randomly get C5 (although code that issues BROWSE within a loop usually goes C5 on the 2nd subsequent BROWSE.)

Puzzling.
