Ribbons are the worst UI development ever conceived for power users. They might help grandma, but they cost me time every single friggin' day. I've been using them for years now and I still absolutely despise them. The asshole at Microsoft that refused to allow the "classic" menus to persist (in conjunction with the ribbons) should be executed. I seriously loathe that guy.
