>>>>>>So, I think you're reasons and arguments against WP7 are bogus. By this fall, it will have far superior quality, capability and user experience than android ever will...

Even if your statement that WP7 will have far superior quality is true, hasn't history shown you that superiority of product has nothing to do with who wins. Android's lead is insurmountable. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid, it will kill you.

>>Entirely off topic, I was thinking of you and Kevin yesterday, envying you having young children. I was driving home from O'Hare with a lump in my throat. Allie will be spending the summer in North Carolina selling books door to door. It sounds weird but she is going under the auspices of one of her friends, who made over $10,000 doing this last summer. Of the group of 30 only one made under $8000. So she is off for a week of sales training in Nashville and then the rest of the summer in NC. Just yesterday she was an infant. APPRECIATE EVERY MOMENT.

>Ooohhh..... (removed company name here) There are a few companies that do that in NC (as well other states) and they are well-known for working the kids to death and terrible living conditions (and a few scary male leader/teenage girl working for him stories). Since Allie is going based on a friend's recommendation, it should be better. They also get $ for bringing kids in too. CHECK IT OUT. Just a recommendation from reading the news stories, having them knock on my door, and reading about the investigations....10,000.00 sounds like a lot, but when you are running at top speed door to door 7 days a week, 14-16 hour days for 90 days, it works out to around 111/day at 6.94/hr and they often sleep in vehicles or really cheap motels 10 kids to a room (no expenses hence more money in the pocket at end of summer) Lots of horror stories, so just get some facts if you care about your daughter.

That outfit sounds a million times worse than the one Allie is working for.

I gave her as much encouragement as I could on the drive home from college on Friday and again on the way to O'Hare on Sunday. I also made it clear that if it is unbearable for whatever reason all she has to do is call and I will get her home. It seems like the company does a pretty good job of setting realistic expectations. They tell you that a lot more people will say no than yes. They say some days you will be very tired and not even making sales. Hang in there and do the work and the end result will be good. Fingers crossed....
