We were hugely lucky as the thing destroyed the house behind us, then it hopped over our house..then ripped apart the one across the street. Both of those were complete wreaks and all we suffered was a broken tree branch.

It's amazing how that goes. One house hit, one house not.

Illinois may not be beautiful but we suffer few if any natural disasters.
