My daughter "bought" (she annoyed my wife long enough until my wife finally got one using air-miles program, and it was against my recommendation, I was never a fan of Apple and Steve Jobs is one of the persons I dislike the most) an iPod a couple of years ago, and it already has been replaced 4 times, when it was not the battery not recharging it was the iPod getting stuck and not responding (you could not even turn it off unless you removed the battery) so now my daughter hates Apple with a passion :)

I'd be suprised if the iPhone only let you move videos via syncing to another machine.. This seems very shortsighted (read that - not done right) to me. I've been suprised a couple of time today already though.. :(
