It wasn't the iPhone itself. What changed was the AppStore. I had a WIndows 6.x phone for several years and while there were apps, I had to go to multiple sites to find them.


That was one of the nice things about the Palm arena - there were plenty of apps, and some very good ones. I've moved on from the Palm....I admit that I LOVE my HTC Evo...but at the time, the Palm was a great smartphone with a strong app market.
