>Thre were millions of successful Windows Mobile 5 - 6.5 phones being used in the enterprise everday for years.... The mobile operating system was also embedded in many hand held devices other than phones, like Intermec.... timeclocks, etc. MS concentrated on the enterprise and were very sucessful at it. WhyPhone targeted the individual 20 something user which is a completely different market and were indeed successful; but to say they were the first is disengenuous...

We sold thousands of hand Windows Mobile terminals for our customers. There is no alternate for Windows Mobile with hand terminals. I'm talking about smartphones, I see Windows Mobile smart phones. They smart as like as my brainless Nokia 5800 smartphone.
