>Oh year just like the Kinnect modeled after apple's...ah...er... oh they don't have one.... and the xbox 360 after... ah err.. oh wait they dont' have that either.. MS had phones from 2001 on, they sure followed apple who released the iphone in 2007....yep they're followers all right..

While I do not agree that MS follows apple in everything, I cannot think of any product were MS was first, there might be for sure, but I cannot think of any. For everything you mentioned there are other products that were first on the market, although they might not been as successful, but that is many a time the product of advertising and not of technological supremacy (of course sometimes it was, even for MS).

Kinnect follows the PS Eye and PS EyeToy (That I know, there might be others), and of course the quality might be much better on the Kinnect, I never use any of those so I can't say
XBox 360 and XBox follows many other consoles
MS Phones phones well, the IBM Simon is considered the first smartphone (1992) then you have Nokia, Palm and Ericson smartphones
