In theory, in my case it may be legit. I don't use Adobe often and I don't re-start my laptop often, so may be it finds new updates every time I re-start.
I'm using Adobe Reader 9. I made a very quick search and it doesn't seem to bring anything relevant.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
