Hey Mike. It was ironic last decade when Palm, once dominant handheld devices, ended up years later shipping Palm devices with Windows Mobile (Pocket PC) firmware. Given that the mobile device space is becoming more and more of a platform play, it seems very possible that Blackberry ends up moving to be Android based. The iPhone just passed Blackberry in smartphone usage to become #2, pushing Blackberry to #3. Windows Phone/Mobile is a 'distant' #4 and declining, which is why I think it's odd for tech analysts to predict Windows Phone will become #2 with the Nokia deal when both WinPhone and Nokia are both declining.
