If you want to find the spirit and intent of Christ, Christians can be a really bad place to look. If He witnessed the behavior of some of those who claim to act in His name He would probably want to smack someone.

This is not an attack on all Christians. I know many who are admirable and to whom it gives comfort. I would be one of them if not for the lack of some core beliefs. But some have seriously missed the boat. Their actions are not even civil, much less Christian.
