Decriminalization of drugs reduces crime. It's proven not just in present time by other countries (thank you Portugal, Netherlands, and others) but in our own past. What happened during prohibition? A dramatic rise in organized crime seeking to profit off the illegal trade of booze. What happened when prohibition was repealed? Organized crime went through an equally dramatic reduction.
Decriminalization of drugs reduces crime. It's a fact.
How can anybody not understand that?
