Keep your morals within your borders and do not blame producers for the sins, real or perceived, of the clients in your country. Why would be an US issue if some country decides to legalize cocaine so they can sell it to another country that has legalized its use? Protect the borders all you want, it is your right, but once outside those borders what other countries do is none of your business.

Perhaps if the USA addressed the drug usage problem differently all together it would help. "oh our children are on drugs - lets go kill some plants in the country that manufactures the drugs" - why not "hey lets figure out how to keep our children off drugs" so that there is no concern on who's producing what. Seems to me we're simply trying to blame others for faults of our own people. Considering the profit margins of such an illegal business it's obviously never going away - so a) make it legal and shut down the revenue stream to the criminals and b) deal with the drug problem here as a health issue not a criminal one. This has worked everywhere else it's been tried.
