Pg 72 doesn't refute anything I've posted here about reference counters. The first sentence is about 1/2 right though. It says the release of the object won't succeed (although in this case because of the external reference to frmInvoice's contained object.) That part is right.

But there is no way to as in the second sentence says to release the object. You release memvars that are references to object. It's a subtle but distinct difference.
