Yes I'm using the designer. Inserted a pad and deleted the prompt = Blank.
Stick it into an app and it dies. By a bar separator, do you mean horizontal or
vertical? I guess I should have been clearer in the beginning the pad I'm trying to some space between is the Main top level menu like File Edit View etc.
