I've been reading this thread and realising that much water has flowed under the bridge since my last academic course in '91 when OO was a pup.
So I'd like to do some catching up :-)
Seems "Design Patterns" are the key (and I think that's really what a good programmer is all about - recognising and abstracting the critters). Can you and/or the others here recommend some serious reading stuff. Would much appreciate that.
