Speaking of addresses that sound made-up:

Folks tended to think I was making up an address back when I lived on East South Ave.

A number of years ago, when I was in Dallas TX, I remember coming across a 1313 Mockingbird Ln. It wasn't a residence however, but a business -- as I heard, the owner specifically selected the location because he was a fan of a particular TV show.

Back in the early 1980s I remember seeing a church in Westwood,CA (near UCLA campus) that had the misfortune of being located such that the house number ended up being 666 (I don't remember the street name). It's not there anymore, as the building was torn down sometime during the mid-1980s.
