Any chance this is the known SP2 bug involving grids? The gist of that one is that when a form with a grid is called from a menu command (as opposed to menu procedure), you get a C5. Search for grid on this page: http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~VFP9SP2BugList~VFP
