>>I actually don't like disagreeing with you

Yes, everybody here will have noticed that ;-)

>>but it won't stop me from saying that you're really taking the concept of "devil's advocate" too far, by taking an incredibly ignorant comment and trying to give credibility to it.

/edit/

Credibility? Ignorance? All I saw was retaliation by people claiming vicarious hurt from a sentence about somebody on a podium who undeniably has a black complexion and was not recognized by the commentator. I accept that the choice of words may have carried a slap against you and yours. If so, it was a tremendous success and the result must have been delicious.

IME it's easy enough (and usually less effort) to divert an intended attack into hyperspace where it can do no harm. ;-) Or as mom used to say, "ignore it."
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
