Hi Gary
You shouldn't need any 3rd party tools.
Search for C# mail merge and you'll find several examples of how to use word automation to do the mail merge.
As Eric said, sending emails in .NET is a snap.
Good luck with your first .NET project.
>>Hi All!
I have a VFP9 application that picks up word documents, performs a mail merge and then emails to multiple recipients (not using BCC) , I am now looking to convert this application to .Net C#.
I have a .Net version of TX Text Control, which I have used in other VFP projects so I was intending to use that to facilitate the mail merge.
My question is for advice on email automation, should I use MAPI? use an 3rd party library? (I currently use Craig Boyd's extended MAPI and WestWind's wwClient in VFP).
I should say that I am only just learning .Net and this will be my first full project in .Net.
Gary.
