>been a while since i've posted. I have an old asp website that is no longer working due to some changes done on the server that cannot be undone. I now have to move the application to asp.net pronto but no idea where to start. basically what I was doing was collecting fields on the asp page and passing them to a foxpro dll and updating 2 tables in a database. This was on server 2003 32bit but the server I have to use now us 2008 64bit and I cannot get the classic asp application working on it. So i was hoping that anynoe had some advice on where to start or how to link to the database directly via asp.net if thats the way to go.I'd normally try to research this and play around with some stuff but the pressure is really on and I don't have the time to learn at my leisure.
If I remember correctly, I faced a similar situation when updating IIS. Can you check in IIS, in Web Service Extensions, to see if Active Server Pages is still ON?
