>Which explains why housing prices have been in a nosedive since the 1930s?

It explains why the fair value of houses, mortgages and interest rates have been manipulated for political gamesmanship since the late 30s. It explains why no one knows for sure what the fair market value of real estate currently is. It explains why we have had multiple boom bust cycles of home prices that coincide with disasterous federal housing policies. It explains why we're in the middle of the worst of those cycles since the Great Depression.

Here's my solution. Shutter Fannie, Freddie & Ginnie, repeal the CRA, eliminate HUD, return the FED to a single mandate, remove any other public interference in the housing market and establish under law that nothing is "too big to fail".
