It's not a normal behavior and never happened to me. My guess it's something in your VFP or Windows environment. Like ON KEY LABEL CTRL+S ... in VFP or some third-party utility in Windows. Also check if File menu is available when it happens.

You will think you just saved your program when all you did, somehow, was insert the double exclamation point (!!) into your code. I have to believe that others have this happening as well.
