A perfect example is the push to cut all public support for Planned Parenthood because they support abortions. What people fail to look at is the preventative cancer and health screenings they also provide. So, instead of preventing illness, that is proven to be cost effective, they want to push sick women into a situation where public health care will have to spend lots more to treat them. If they don't want to fund abortion, fine, don't fund it, but don't make stupid cuts.

>Like what? I think that to fix things, we need to stop unnecessary spending (public radio and TV are simply not necessary) and look at entitlement reform. You have some other ideas?
