Happens to me too and I hate it. It looks like FoxPro is not intercepting the CTRL-S sequence correctly and instead embedding the ASCII code for it into the text.
I suspect it has something to do with keyboard drivers - I have a Microsoft Ergo 4000 keyboard and I see it constantly. However, VFP is the only application that does this for me...
Been happening for a long time for me all the way back to XP I think. Sucks.

>I do not know why this happens all the time, but it is annoying. When I hit the CTRL + S key combination, the double exclamation point appears in my code. Of course, this doesn't run very well. You will think you just saved your program when all you did, somehow, was insert the double exclamation point (!!) into your code. I have to believe that others have this happening as well. If so, how do you stop it?
