Can you get to the table with Windows Explorer?

>I am trying to connect to a file over the network from a dll. I have tried both approaches 1 and 2 below but to no avail. With scenario 1 I get a file is in use 108 error and in situation 2 I get files does not exist. The network location is correct, the network drive is setup and connected. any thoughts?
