I would wait until the first service pack is released before putting any applications written with VFP 6 into production. There seem to be several new bugs, some of them fairly serious.

There are several nice new features of VFP 6. Some of these relate to Internet development, some to creating COM objects and others to programmer productivity. I would recommend buying VFP 6 now if you haven't already. You can try running your applications under 6.0 and see if you have any problems. If you start working with it now you'll be ready to go when the first service pack is released.
