>Gold Wave, Sound Forge, Cool Edit pro and Acoustica Mp3 Mixer are, among others, applications that will allow you to record directly from the sound produced on your computer. keep in mind that if you have this to record from the Stereo input /ouput line, all sounds from Windows will also appearon the recording so make sure you disable the windows sounds, the Messenger sounds or any other alert sounds on your PC before starting to record. Once you've recorded during a period of time , you can export that file to an MP3, WAV of whatever format the applications above support.
