Do the controls still show up in the designer?

I've been having lots of problems with VFP not properly saving designer files: VCXs and SCXs, but it's usually more obvious as NOTHING saves - CTRL-W, designer closes but changes are not saved. On next open all changes are lost.

I'm really weary of visual classes these days - using double saves with Ctrl-S and only then closing classes. Sucks.
