Or not listen to, as the case may be. Have you noticed how sensitive guys are to physical mishaps just below the belt? Last weekend I was watching a baseball game with my girlfriend. A pitch went into the dirt, the catcher didn't block it, and it bounced straight into the home plate umpire's family jewels. He went down on one knee, gasping for air, and stayed there long enough for the announcers to speculate whether another umpire might need to replace him. Cindi said I should get my camera, you should see the look on your face. Involuntary sympathy. And they replayed the pitch about five times, including slow motion! All right already, we get the idea.
