From her articles and pictures I doubt she has to spend much money on bait. Good for Alan, good for both of them.
When I was just getting started with FoxPro -- FPD 2.0 fresh off the vine <g> -- I attended an all day seminar YAG gave at a hotel near O'Hare. It cost about a hundred bucks and was worth immeasurably more. Pure gold. I bumped into him in the hallway during a break and told him how much I got out of the original Codebook. The black and red book, not the framework that came later. It convinced me that FoxPro was a serious product that could be used to develop serious business apps. He said thank you. I added that it was very well written. He said with a laugh that he was an English major in college so maybe it was time he got something out of it.
