So do we ever get to know who it is? The suspense is killing me!

To be perfectly honest (and I'm copying Michel on this), I think this has gone on long enough. There has been all kinds of speculation going in in private emails, and I personally know of a situation where two people had an off-line argument because one person honestly thought it was the other person.

Anyone who has been on this site for any length of time knows that one of the UT's major no-nos (which I agree with) is dual accounts and false identities. I'll even go one further - it's gutless. In 2004 when Michel banned JVP, Michel reached out to me to ask general questions about IP addresses at the location where JVP and I worked. So clearly (and rightly) this topic has always been taken seriously.

What has me even more concerned now is two seemingly unrelated events. Roughly three weeks ago, my UT password stopped working and I had to do a password reset. So now I am wondering about the possibility that my account was hacked and my password changed. For the record, I'm not accusing anyone of anything. But in the absence of a systematic explanation on why my password suddenly stopped working, it is not unreasonable to at least speculate all possible reasons.

Michel, assuming you're reading this, please end the speculation and the hints - please merge the accounts. I think the members here should know.
