I haven't been following this issue too closely, as I never saw the offensive posts from "Grover", but I have seen a ton of messages from Kevin and while he can be very aggressive in his positions, I have not seen anything that would make me think he would do something like this. Given the fact that most of us are fairly technically astute, and Kevin more astute than many, I think the possibility of someone hacking his account and spoofing an ip address is pretty good. I would recommend erring on the side of caution in regards to banning him.

I think perhaps someone has the ability to spoof ips or something and may take target at someone else in the future now that they have been successful in this endeavor. If it were Kevin, he would have owned up to it and made the public apology but I do not believe he would have done it in the first place. Fake ids is something he is totally against and considers it cowardice. He has posted that publicly himself in the past.
