>I have a new 64-bit laptop. It has Windows 7 Enterprise loaded on it. When I downloaded Visual Studio 2010 from BizSpark, and started to install it, the installation failed. It said that the setup was invalid. There are a few choices on Visual Studio 2010, some of which are only small parts. I beleive I have tried all of the installations that are available, and yet can't install VS 2010. This is NOT the best way to spend a Saturday morning.

You might want to set the date on your machine back about a year and then try the install again.
Microsoft in their infinite wisdom has put dependencies in their installers of late (VS2010 SP1 for sure) that are date dependent on other files that they may or may not be able to find. In the event of a problem, you get the inval file errors on the setup file.
I went through this for a couple of weeks trying to get SP1 installed on one particular VS2010 machine - finally someone sresetting the date. Worked like a charm.
Great job Microsoft.
